About me:
22 year old, body positive, cosmetologist and artist.
Body story:
I've always been fat. I struggled a lot with positive body image (and still do sometimes). My family, as well meaning as they meant it to be, pestered me a lot about my weight. My dad brought home Hairspray for me to watch when I was about 10, and I was hooked! I never quite fit in, until I found places on the internet where being fat, wearing lots of patters, and having brightly colored hair was the norm!
Where are you from?
Baltimore, MD! Currently in PA, but hoping to get back there some day!
Who are your style inspirations?
Divine, Latrice Royale, Dita Von Teese, and every John Waters movie.
Where do you get your clothes?
Most of it is thrifted, however I do buy from:
Domino Dollhouse

What are your favorite makeup brands?
I try to make sure that most of my makeup is cruelty free. I also love being able to find something with department store quality at a drugstore price. What are your favorite indie perfume brands?

Why did you get your cosmetology license?
Well, I'm o fourth generation cosmetologist. I grew up around it, and it came natural to me. My mom always has her makeup and hair done, and I remember how fascinated I was when I watched her get ready. I wanted to do special effects makeup, however couldn't afford to go to school for that, so I got my cosmetology license instead!
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Watching and critiquing films with my boyfriend, reading, creating, and blog surfing!
What's some of your favorite music?
